About Michael
With more than 20 years of experience, Michael Kim consults in the area of employment-based immigration with a focus on the health care industry. Michael specializes in the recruitment (waiver, nonimmigrant work authorization) and retention (employment-based permanent residency) of health care workers, including physicians, nurses, medical technologists and physical therapists, as well as those in non-clinical roles. He provides customized immigration solutions for large institutional employers and organizations as well as individual employees. In addition to health care organizations, Michael has provided immigration consultation to NBA teams and large, multinational technology corporations.
Michael offers immigration educational and training sessions, which include educating clients about various immigration processes and increasing comprehension of the immigration framework (employer obligations and responsibilities, as well as navigation of the Federal Immigration construct) while also confirming compliance with all applicable federal immigration laws and regulations. Whether focused narrowly on a single issue or a high-level encompassing overview of immigration options and programs, he tailors his sessions to fit the specific immigration needs of each client.
