About James
James Junger focuses his practice on pharmacy and health care compliance issues. James assists clients, which include hospitals, health systems, federally qualified health centers and safety net providers, as they navigate the complex 340B program, drug distribution laws, and fraud and abuse rules that regulate the health care industry.
James works with his 340B clients to ensure that their pharmacy operations comply with federal law and contribute to the organization’s success. He helps these safety-net clients prepare for and navigate HRSA audits, investigate potential compliance concerns and respond to suspected noncompliance in a supportable, productive way.
James also works with clients to establish, evaluate and improve their compliance programs. He assists in navigating internal investigations, government investigations and e-discovery reviews and damages calculations, including the reviews of claims data and other financial data. Through this and other work, James has experience working with large amounts of data, including assisting with transactions by coordinating multiple due diligence review processes.
James is actively involved in Health Care Compliance Association, frequently authoring articles for their publications, and is a Fellow of the American Bar Foundation. James lives in Franklin, Wisconsin with his wife, son and two shelter dogs.
